At Alpine Christian School, we believe students should not just be consumers of knowledge—they should be creators, explorers, and problem-solvers. Our STEM/STEAM program empowers students to engage in hands-on, real-world learning that fosters curiosity, innovation, and a heart for service.
Aligned with the NAD curriculum vision, our STEM/STEAM approach integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math through meaningful projects, cross-curricular units, and Christ-centered inquiry.
During the 2024–2025 school year, we officially launched our long-term vision for a dedicated STEM/STEAM lab at Alpine Christian School. With the enthusiastic support of our community and the blessing of various fundraising initiatives, we’ve made significant progress:
The physical space has been established and prepared
We’ve begun acquiring STEM kits, building tools, and learning materials
Teachers are receiving support and training in project-based learning
Students are already participating in pilot projects and early STEM challenges
During the 2024–2025 school year, Alpine Christian School launched an exciting long-term initiative: the creation of our dedicated STEM/STEAM learning lab. Thanks to generous donors and the support of our school community, the physical space has been built and equipped with foundational resources and kits.
We are now preparing for full operation of the lab during the 2025–2026 school year, where students in grades PK–8 will explore hands-on learning in robotics, coding, electronics, engineering, and more.
We still need the support of kindhearted individuals and families who believe in Christian education rooted in innovation and creativity.

Adding the Arts to STEM recognizes that innovation also requires imagination. Our program blends engineering with expression, and math with meaning. We want students to see that:
Creativity and critical thinking go hand in hand
Solutions to problems require both logic and empathy
Faith and science are not enemies—they are partners in exploring truth
In a world shaped by rapid change and technology, Alpine is preparing students with the skills to adapt and the faith to lead.
From PK through Grade 8, our students engage in age-appropriate STEM/STEAM activities such as:
Building simple machines and circuits
Launching model rockets
Coding robots and animations
Solving design challenges
Creating musical instruments
Studying environmental systems
Participating in science fairs and group exhibitions
All while exploring how their gifts, minds, and hands can be used to serve others and glorify God.
This exciting initiative would not be possible without:
Parent donations and sponsorships
Community and church partnerships
Grants and resource development
A shared vision of preparing students for a world they will shape with wisdom and faith
We are not building this STEM/STEAM lab to keep up with the world—we are building it to equip our students to transform it. Rooted in biblical truth, our students will explore God’s creation with wonder, use technology with responsibility, and solve problems with compassion.
